The decision is made, the idea solidifies in the head - an own simulator is needed!
In this article, we want to equalize the first steps to your own simulator a little and pave the way.
What components do I need?
Which launch monitor should it be?
Where can I find the right teeing mat?
This list goes on and on, and we promise that we will work through all the points one by one,
but today we will dedicate ourselves to the dimension of space:
Dimension:
The ideal size must be chosen in such a way that the longest golf club (driver) can be swung and moved freely.
Room width:
For the golf simulator room, we recommend a width of at least 450-480 cm. If you want to have space on the canvas to pass by, then about 50-60 cm should be added to each side.
Room length:
The simulator construction is from about 250 cm long, the projector can be between 250-600 cm away from the screen depending on the model and optics. If you also need access behind the screen, please add 60 cm.
You and the flight would like to stay in front of the cabin and chairs, table and golf bags should be accommodated?
In this case, you should have at least 300 cm (400 cm would be better) of space.
Taking into account the above factors, the perfect room length would be 900 to 1,000 cm, with a minimum of 500 cm.
Room height:
Our recommendation is a clear room height of ideally at least 300 cm, preferably more! Please keep in mind that in addition to personal requirements such as: Body size, some launch monitors need 290cm as a minimum height.
